STEP BY STEP COMPLAINT LIST
1) Contact the institution that actually billed you and dispute the charges as fraudulent. They will usually initiate the dispute very easily.
2) Contact the phone number of the company that is accessing your account.The phone number of the company placing the unauthorized charges will be listed on your bank or credit card statement with the amount deducted and the date. Mine was listed as:

Tell them that you do NOT want their services and you wish to cancel any accounts that you have with them. They will try to talk you out of it - DON"T LET THEM! My conversation went like this:
ME: "I have some unauthorized charges on my account from this company and I want them to stop"
TLG: "Yes, we see that you signed up for this program and received a $20 credit card for shopping and a $20 gas card"
ME: " No, I did not sign up for anything and have never received any cards. I have never even heard of this company..."
TLG: "Oh, that's because you were automatically signed up when you reserved a room at Motel 8, we haven't sent you the cards yet. If you would like, we could send you those cards now and keep you enrolled in the program..."
ME: "I don't want it!"
TLG: "Are you sure? I could send you...."
ME: "I don't want it... I don't want anything from this company, I want to cancel any services you have."
After a few minutes of this, I finally received a cancellation number from them. The other number I was not able to reach. This does not always work. They have been sued numerous times for continuing to charge even after a request for cancellation.
4.) Contact your Attorney General for your state (I have supplied a list below). File a complaint against the company for "Consumer Fraud" and have them investigate. Since the company has been sued by at least 17 states, the AG has probably heard of them.
5) File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
